Hi,
Barcamp Bangalore is happening this Saturday, May 20, 2023. Some points/tips on what to expect:

The event is at RV University. The venue is accessible by Namma Metro on the Purple line, towards Kengeri. Alight at Pattanagere station. Next to the metro station is the venue.

Barcamp Bangalore rooms are on the 3rd floor of the main building of the RV University block - watch for direction markers at the venue. Maps will also help you reach. We’ve added directions from the Metro station to the campus in the image below. Please click here if you prefer to open a full size image.

If you are getting your personal vehicle, there is a parking space on the campus.

We’d request you to join our Discord server to reach us on a more real-time basis :)

The venue is a college and a green zone, please don’t litter. Water fountains and dispensers are available - however, please do carry your own water bottles as there are no disposable glasses, only steel tumblers.

We open registrations at 8am. If you are presenting a session, make it a point to reach the venue by 8 am else you may not get an open slot since we allocate the talks on a first come, first serve basis.

Intro session starts at 9:30am. If you are attending for the first time, don’t miss it. Even if you have been to Barcamps before, this is a good way to let the new Barcampers know what Barcamp is like.

If you are a speaker, please have your PPT/ODP/HTML ready beforehand, and carry any equipment required to connect your laptop to the projector. The projectors will have HDMI cables.

Please note that the sessions run for 40 minutes, with 5 minutes as change over. There are 2 breaks in between sessions - we hope people will use this to mingle, talk, discuss or create impromptu sessions.

- During breaks, we will provide tea/coffee/biscuits and lunch will also be served free. Please collect the food coupons during the registration.
- There are separate dustbins for Dry Waste and wet waste. please segregate them and dispose of waste accordingly
- Remember the Law of Two Feet, meet new people, make new friends, and learn cool new stuff!
- Bring your cameras, tablets, laptop - take pictures, livestream them. Share them tagged with #barcampblr
- Chat, mingle, interact, and discuss with others. This isn’t a one-sided event!
